The application filling process for the IMU-CET Exam includes two registration processes. The initial registration is the basic registration in which the candidate will initiate the registration and generate his/her login credentials. On the other hand, the second is the detailed registration, which consists of filling in personal details, academic information, etc.
Below are the simple steps to fill out the application form for IMU-CET:
Step 1: Visit the IMU-CET website (imu.cbexams.com).
Step 2: Tap on the New Registration or Sign Up option to start the registration process.
Step 3: Enter the required basic details to generate your application number and password.
Step 4: Now, sign in using your generated login credentials, which include the application number and password.
Step 5: Fill in your personal details, academic qualifications, and other information as required.
Step 6: Scan and upload the required documents, including your photograph and signature, in the specified format and size.
Step 7: Also, upload scanned copies of mark sheets and other necessary certificates in PDF/JPG/JPEG format.
Step 8: Pay the application registration fee online via the available payment method provided on the website, such as debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
The IMU does not provide any correction facility for the IMU-CET application form. Therefore, once the candidates have submitted the online application form, there is no way to make corrections or edits.
In such a scenario, the candidate has to reapply afresh and pay the fee again with a new email ID and mobile number. Thus, the candidates are strongly advised to exercise utmost care and accuracy while filling out the application form to avoid any issues later on.
If a candidate has multiple registrations, the latest one will be considered. In addition, if anyone needs to correct a spelling mistake or any other name-related issue, they need to publish the corrected name in the Gazette and send a request letter to the Controller of Examinations, along with the Gazette publication and a fee payment receipt. The fee for name correction is INR 500 and 18% GST extra.
