GRE Exam Dates 2025: The GRE General Test is available throughout the year at authorized GRE test centers as well as in an at-home format. Candidates can choose dates that best fit their schedules. Furthermore, the GRE Subject Tests take place only three times a year in September, October, and April. GRE Exam Subject Test Dates 2025

The GRE Subject test registration will start from July 2025. Candidates can take the GRE subject test once every 14 days. GRE Subject tests are offered in Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. The following are the GRE Subject Test dates 2025:

The GRE General test is offered every year with multiple slots available each month at designated test centers and through the GRE at Home option. The no. of GRE slots per month differs by city and test center. However, candidates can take the GRE once every 21 days and 5 times. Also, there is no lifetime limit on total GRE attempts, but only the rolling limit.

GRE Exam 2025 Validity

GRE scores are valid for five years from the date the candidate takes the test. After five years, their scores will expire and will no longer be available in the ETS system. Then, the candidate must retake the GRE if they need to submit scores to universities after that window.
