Vignana Jyoti Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad, is an autonomous business school founded in 1993 to develop professional managers. It is approved by the AICTE, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and is a member of AACSB. The Institute has 33 years of academic excellence. VJIM is ranked as the 18th top private college by The Week and a certified green campus by The Climate Reality Project (USA). Apart from this, the institute signed more than 10 international MoUs, among them, two are major, with the Lincoln University College, Thailand, and the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
It offers a two-year full-time PGDM program, which is certified by the Association of Indian Universities as an MBA equivalent. Admission to these courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The program offers five types of courses spread across two years: foundation, core, elective, cluster, and self-learning. It also provided global and rural immersion programs. VJIM currently offers 270 seats for the PGDM course, with 210 seats for PGDM and 60 seats for PGDM (General).
Apart from this, the institute provides various facilities for its students, such as libraries, a sports complex, an amphitheatre, a medical centre, and IT infrastructure. Along with this, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls within a radius of 1 km of the institute, with various essential amenities, like drinking water, medical facilities, etc. VJIM, Hyderabad, has a dedicated placement cell. A two-year PGDM program is offered by the VJIM in different specialisations. These are Business Analytics, Human Resources, Operations, Logistics, Supply, Finance, etc. Admission to these programs is ongoing, and the last date to apply online is October 2025 (Tentative).
Admission to the PGDM programs is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test, like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or having achieved 50% (45% for reserved categories) in graduation. Final year students are also eligible for admission, but they need to submit their marksheets by 31 August 2025. Candidates are selected based on the composite score as per AICTE Norms. After that, students will be informed via email or sms to appear for a Personal Interview. Additionally, the total fee for a two-year PGDM course is INR 8,60,00. While applying for admission, students must pay an application fee of INR 1,200.

The institute has established a comprehensive scholarship scheme, which includes financial support for underprivileged target groups. It provides a merit-based scholarship, which is up to INR 3 Lakh. The scholarship is given to deserving candidates based on their performance in a national-level test, composite score, merit, talent, and other criteria. There is a provision of a financial aid scholarship, in which there is up to a 50% tuition fee waiver for students from low-income backgrounds (BPL), and a defence personnel scholarship, in which there is a 20% tuition fee waiver for children of defence personnel.
