To fulfil this aim, the placement cell tries to promote discipline, professional conduct, and enhance students’ industry readiness while maintaining trust with the recruiting partners. The placement cell helps students find suitable career opportunities in some of the top companies.
It tries to build and maintain strong industry links with other companies and institutions for campus recruitment, internships, and projects.
It helps students enhance their technical skills, soft skills, and industry certifications through various training programs.
The placement cell also organises regular mock interviews, group discussions, and mock tests so that students can get placed easily.
They also design and implement skill modules related to the emerging trends, such as AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Product Development.
Students who want to be a part of the placement process must register only through their Department Placement Coordinators within the notified deadline. Registration will be accepted only once, and incomplete registration will result in disqualification.
Once a student is registered, they must take part in all the activities related to the placement process. Students must showcase professional conduct, punctuality, and the prescribed University dress code is mandatory.
Students who no longer want to participate in the placement process due to going for higher studies, government service, personal reasons, or others must submit their request through their Department Coordinator. Deregistration will be approved once the placement cell reviews it, and once they deregister, they cannot enter the placement process in the same academic year.
Students who remain absent after registering for a company, decline after accepting an offer, or engage in misconduct during the placement process will be blacklisted. This will result in them losing all placement privileges and may face disciplinary action as per the University rules.
Department Placement Coordinators are the first point of contact for registration and withdrawal during the placement process.
