Unitedworld Institute of Design is accepting applications for B.Des and M.Des courses. Admission is based on UID DAT scores, followed by a Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation. Unitedworld Institute of Design offers B.Design (Hons.) and M.Design courses. To get admission to these courses, students need to meet eligibility criteria and pass the UID Design Aptitude Test.
B.Design (Hons.): Students who have finished or are doing 10+2 in any stream or a 3-year diploma are eligible to apply for admission.
M.Design: Students with a 3–4 year degree or a 5-year diploma can apply for the PG programmes.
Selection for these programmes is based on the UID Design Aptitude Test. To apply to their preferred programmes, students can apply directly through the official website or by visiting the campus once they meet the eligibility requirements.
The Unitedworld Institute of Design placement system helps students start good careers. The placement team guides students in making resumes and portfolios and preparing for interviews. UID works with many companies, designers and start-ups, which gives students strong exposure to the industry.
Students get internships and live projects and get a chance to attend industry talks. KIIF supports students who want to build new businesses. In 2022, B.Des students got INR 8–12 LPA, and M.Des students got INR 10–14 LPA on average.

UID offers scholarships on a merit basis. Top UCEED, CEED or NIFT-ranked students get 25% to 75% relaxation on fees. Students at Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar can get 100% of fees waived. Students must perform well academically, maintain regular attendance and follow all institute rules to continue receiving it. Only one scholarship can be taken at a time.
UID also helps children of the Indian Armed Forces. Children of martyrs get full fee waivers. Children of injured or released soldiers get a 50% fee waiver. Children of serving or retired personnel get a 25% fee waiver. Scholarships depend on rank, campus and year. NRI and management students cannot get merit scholarships.
