For the pre-final years, students from branches like Civil Engineering, Computer Science, AI & ML, Electronics, ect, MBA and MCA are trained in soft skills, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. Training Process for Placement Program-

• First Year- Students will start with learning English Communications and Aptitude Skills to create a solid base for their academic and professional futures.

• Second Year- Students will focus on further building their communication skills, advanced aptitude skills, and their overall personality through soft skills training.

• Third Year- Students will undergo Technical Training, Advanced Practice for Aptitude Skills, and Mock Interview Preparation to be ready for placement.

• Fourth/Final Year- Companies will provide Specialized Training through company-specific aptitude tests, technical mock interviews, psychometric testing, and development of skills related to their specific domain.

The Oxford College of Engineering Bangalore placements process has a structured activities, which is managed by the Training and Placement Cell. The college placement process is student-focused and designed to improve both technical competence and professional skills set. The Training and Placement Department emphasizes the development of aptitude, soft-skill training, practical experience with on-the-job training or certification programs, as well as frequent interaction with industry professionals, to better equip students with the tools necessary to gain employment through the use of modern facilities, new technology, updated laboratory equipment, and ongoing motivation sessions throughout the placement period.

The placement process of college is as follows:

• Job Description Shared: In the initial placement process, the placement cell shares company requirements and job details with the students. 

• Student Applications: Interested and eligible students apply to participate in the hiring event through the recruitment drive. 

• Recruitment Process: The hiring companies conduct an extensive selection process that could include aptitude tests, interviews, group discussions and technical evaluations. 

• Offer Selections: Once students successfully pass all evaluations, the hiring company provides job offers to students.

• Joining Letter Issued: Upon acceptance of an offer letter, the hiring company will provide official written communication of employment via a letter or email to selected candidates. 

• Students Join Company: Students who accept the job offer will begin their employment with the hiring company.
