The Neotia University Kolkata offers courses at the graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The Neotia University Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates who want to take admission into any of the courses that are provided by the University should fulfil the eligibility criteria:
- For the B.Tech course, candidates should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 55%-60% marks from a recognised board.
- Whereas, candidates getting admission into the B.Tech course through Lateral entry should have passed the Diploma degree with a minimum of 55%-60% marks.
- For admission to the B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture course, students must pass class 10+2 with at least 55% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the core subjects from any recognised board.
- Admission to the B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course, students must pass class 12th with at least 50% marks from any recognised board.
- For admission to the B.Tech in Marine Engineering course, candidates must pass class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognised board. 50% in English at the Class-10 or Class-12 final examination. Medical Test as Approved by the D.G. Shipping Approved Doctors. Valid rank in IMU-CET in the current year. Valid Passport is required for admission to this course.
- For PhD admission at The Neotia University Kolkata, candidates must have a complete Master’s degree in the relevant subject. Admission is based on the qualifying marks in the NEO Admission Test or any other national-level entrance examination or fellowship, followed by the Personal Interview.
The Neotia University UG Admission 2026
The Neotia University offers undergraduate courses such as B.Tech, B.Sc, Hons, BBA, BBA LLB, BA LLB, B.Com, BHM, BCA, B.Pharm, B.Tech in Marine Engineering, BSc Nursing, etc. The total course duration for these courses ranges from 3 to 5 years, and the fee ranges from INR 1,16,000 to INR 12,84,000.
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria for these courses should fill out the online application form, and they need to have an acceptable score in exams such as the NEO Admission Test or any relevant national-level entrance examinations. The JEE Main entrance examination 2026 will be conducted from 21st January to 30th January 2026 for session 1 and 2nd April to 9th April 2026 for session 2.
The Neotia University BSc (Hons) Agriculture Admission 2026
The Neotia University agriculture courses are offered by the School of Agriculture and Allied Sciences. The university offers a BSc (Hons) Agriculture course at the UG level. The duration of this course is four years, and admission is based on the marks obtained in the NEO Admission Test or any equivalent examination.
Candidates must pass their class 10+2 with at least 55% marks from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. The total intake of this course is 120 students. The Neotia University is the first university in West Bengal to provide a four-year ICAR-accredited BSc (Hons) Agriculture course.

The Neotia University West Bengal, PG courses are MBA in Agribusiness & Rural Management, M.Sc Agriculture in Agronomy, M.Sc in Biotechnology, M.Sc in Microbiology, Master of Physiology, Master in Hotel Management, and many more.
To get admission into these courses, candidates must fulfil the basic admission requirements. For example, candidates applying for admission into any one of these courses need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Additionally, the course duration for all the PG courses offered by the University is two years, and the fee range is between INR 1,49,000 to INR 4,69,000.
The Neotia University MBA in Agribusiness & Rural Management Admission 2026
The Neotia University offers a Postgraduate program in Agriculture, which is an MBA in the Agribusiness & Rural Management course. Though students with valid and qualifying marks in UGC-NET/JRF, and equivalent exams or fellowships.
The Neotia University PhD course tuition fee is INR 30,000 across all specialisations. The admission fee is INR 10,000, and the registration fee is INR 10,000 for admission to the PhD courses. Students have to pay an amount of INR 15,000 as thesis fees and INR 25,000 as the security deposit, which is one-time payable.
