SIBM Pune, the flagship institute of Symbiosis International University, has completed its Campus Recruitment Programme 2024 for the MBA batch of 2023-25. This year, more than 109 companies took part in the placement process, coming from diverse sectors such as Automotive, Banking and Finance (BFSI), Consulting, FMCG/FMCD, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, IT/ITES, and Manufacturing. The average and median salary package were INR 28.83 LPA and INR 26.04 LPA respectively.

SIBM Pune MBA Batch Profile and Academic Background
The MBA cohort at SIBM Pune is quite varied when it comes to the academic and professional experiences of the individuals. Students with an engineering or scientific background constitute approximately 65% of the cohort, while management and commerce fields account for 29%, and the remaining come from arts and other disciplines. SIBM Pune MBA Placement Highlights 2024
Sibm Pune Placements has once again demonstrated its strong industry connections and student excellence in the 2024 placement season. The highest CTC offered reached INR 53.58 LPA, while the average and median CTC stood at INR 28.83 LPA and INR 26.04 LPA respectively. The batch earned 98 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) which testify to the students’ brilliance in the internships and projects they were involved in.
The placements covered a wide range of industries, including Automotive/Manufacturing (29%), BFSI (19%), Consulting (15%), FMCG (12%), IT/E-Commerce (10%), Others (8%), and Media/Telecommunications (4%). There were 56 recruiters in all participating in the process.
The best students were offered good salaries and their average salaries were INR 38.35 LPA for the Top 10%, INR 35.03 LPA for the Top 25% and INR 32.94 LPA for the Top 50%. The average CTC for male students was INR 28.64 LPA while female students' average was INR 29.33 LPA. Hence confirming the institute's commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.

SIBM Pune has made it possible to conduct its Summer Internship Recruitment Programme 2024 for the 47th MBA flagship batch (2024–26). Even in a tough market, the institute managed to do very well, which is an indication of its strong reputation and trust among the recruiters. The school's success is attributed to its emphasis on practical education, student-led initiatives, and faculty teaching that is aimed at the industry.
In the 2024 placement season, more than 90 companies from different sectors participated in the internship process, including Automotive and Manufacturing, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG/FMCD, Healthcare, and IT/ITES. Students had a chance to get internships in various fields and roles. The Summer Internship Recruitment Programme 2024 for the 47th MBA Flagship batch 2024-26 was indeed a big success at SIBM Pune. SIBM Pune sealed yet another wonderful year in its Summer Internship placement with the maximum stipend being INR 4.80 lakh, while the average stipend was INR 3.12 lakh, and the median stipend was INR 3.00 lakh for Summer Internship.
Recruiters came from a wide range of sectors, with the highest participation from FMCG/FMCD (27%) followed by IT, E-Commerce, and Consulting (24%), BFSI (16%), Automotive and Manufacturing (15%) and Media and Telecommunication (9%) along with other sectors. This variety gave the students a chance in various fields.
The top 10% students got an average stipend of INR 4.51 lakh%, followed by the top 25% students getting INR 4.32 lakh and the top 50% got INR 3.88 lakh. The process witnessed the participation of 55+ legacy recruiters and 35+ new recruiters with more than 68 offers crossing the INR 4.00 lakh mark, reiterating the quality of opportunities on offer.
Of the total, the average stipend for female students was INR 3.41 lakh compared to INR 2.72 lakh for male students, which demonstrates the equal opportunity and good performance across the batch.
