Swarrnim Startup And Innovation University Ahmedabad placement cell takes care of all the Placement & Training related activities. It helps students train for their placement interviews and also organises sessions, such as Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, Guest lectures, and invites corporates from different industries to share their knowledge with the students. Below is a step-by-step explanation of the placement process at SSIU Gandhinagar:
Inviting the Companies: The University sends invitations to all the companies to become a part of its placement drive. They also help organise pre-placement talks so that the companies can talk with the students directly.
Pre-Placement Talk (PPT): The placement cell helps organise pre-placement talks for companies that have agreed to be a part of the University’s placement drive. Moreover, the companies also provide information about their organisation and the roles that they are hiring for.
Aptitude Tests/Written Test/Group Discussion: Students who want to appear for the job interview for a particular company must participate in the selection rounds organised by the company. These include Aptitude tests, Written tests, or Group Discussions.
HR Interview/Technical Interview: Before the final selection happens, students who have passed the other selection rounds have an interview with the HR or a Technical Interview round.
Selection of Candidates: Students who have passed all these rounds will be shortlisted by the companies and will be given the offer letters.
Acceptance or Rejection of Offer Letters: Once students receive the offer letter, they have to inform the companies whether they accept or reject the offer within the given timeframe.
Joining Procedure: If a student has accepted the offer and they join the company, they will have to complete pre-employment checks, submit the required paperwork, and then undergo the onboarding process through orientation & training.
