Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, has recently announced its admissions for its academic year 2025, and the deadline for the application form is October 2025 (Tentative).

The eligibility criteria will depend on the program. For the undergraduate programs such as B.Tech, BBA, BCA, and B.Sc, the applicants should have passed Class 12th with the corresponding subjects along with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 70%, according to the course. 

For the PG programs like MBA, M.Tech and M.Sc, students must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Other subject-specific requirements include specific programs such as B.Ed., B.Pharm and M.Phil.

Admission depends on merit and entrance tests such as GVEST, SGVUEEE, JEE, CUET-UG, NIFTEE, NIDEE, UGCEED, CUET-PG, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, PTET, JET, ICAR, NET JRF, etc. Counselling Sessions and Interviews are also part of the admission process to some of the programs.

Here’s a concise overview of the eligibility criteria for Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) admissions in 2025 across major programs:

Undergraduate Courses

Candidates must have completed their Class 12th from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% -70% marks based on the course. Along with this, candidates must appear in the following entrance exams, such as  SGVUEEE, JEE, NIFTEE, NIDEE, UCEED, SGVUEE, JET, CUET-UG, etc.  

Postgraduate Courses

Students must have a relevant UG degree and have secured a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for PG admission. Entrance exams, such as CAT, MAT, CUET, or SGVUEE, etc, are also required. 

Doctoral Programs

The applicants should have a master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates must have cleared several entrance tests like NET/JRF/SGVUEE.  

Diploma Courses

For diploma courses, candidates must have passed their 10th or 12th grade, depending on the specific program. Admission is based on merit and the SGVUEEE entrance test.

Suresh Gyan Vihar University Scholarships 2025

Some of the flagship schemes include 100% scholarship, including tuition fees, exam fees, enrolment fees, books, accommodation and boarding expenses for the full term of the course, known as Acharya Purushottam Uttam Fellowship. The awarding of this fellowship is entirely at the discretion of the Board of Management to students who are in real need of the money, and the scheme is renewable every year, provided that the student has an attendance of 75%.

Shri Suresh Sharma Memorial Fellowship provides a full waiver of tuition fee to 50 students, based on financial need, and at the discretion of BOM. Also, students with 95% or higher in their 12th examinations are eligible to receive a 100% Merit Scholarship on their tuition fee.

In the case of students whose scores are slightly lower, SGVU provides the Shri Sunil Sharma Merit Partial Scholarship, which entails:

• 50%  tuition fee waiver on a 92%-95% range.

• Waiver 40% between 90% and 92%.

The University President Merit Scholarship includes:

• 25% of tuition fee waiver on scores of between 85% and 90.

• Waiver of score between 75% and 85% at 10% available only in the first year.

SGVU also serves its internal customers with the Dr Sudhanshu Employee Welfare Scholarship, which is a 50% waiver on the tuition fee of permanent university employees and their children who have to fulfil service and academic standards.
