

St. Francis Institute of Management and Research-PGDM in Mumbai offers a postgraduate diploma in management to equip future management and executives with a unique form of learning that is both theoretical and practical. The PGDM is a two-year full-time management program approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and the Government of Maharashtra, DTE.
The admission for this course includes merit and entrance as the deciding factors. However, a basic entry requirement must be met. Candidates must have achieved no less than 50% in a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Additional measures include Written Ability, GD/ Interview, which a candidate must take part in. Candidates can either reach out to the institute and avail the offline admission form, or can apply online directly through the online admission process. The annual fees, including tuition fees, registration fees, examination fees, etc, are INR 3,00,000.
The PGDM course includes both major and minor disciplines of Management. The major streams of Management that are offered at SFIMAR-PGDM are Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management, Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, and Hospitality Management. The minor specialisations are Banking, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Financial Markets, Retail Management, Advertising and Public Relations, Global Business, Agribusiness, and Rural Infrastructure. Candidates will get to study these courses in six trimesters, three trimesters each year.
The PGDM course at SFIMAR-PGDM is further divided into various industry-ready, formative courses, sectoral courses, etc. One of the courses within the PGDM program was launched with the inception of the institute, that is, PGDM-3D. This course is offered in a customised way to assist the candidates who want to achieve leadership roles in the prospective industrial setup, especially in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) environments. To achieve this, the institute made sure the pedagogy involves experimental and practical-based learning.

To confirm the seat at SFIMAR-PGDM, candidates are required to pay some charges to the institute. The SFIMR-PGDM fee structure includes several components, including the application fees, hostel charges, registration fees, tuition fees, security/ caution deposit, conference charges, etc. The annual tuition fees for the PGDM course are INR 2,27,000. At the end of the academic term, candidates will get the refundable deposits back. Other payables include an examination fee of INR 12,000, a charge of INR 15,000 for field trips and company visits, and INR 50,000 for the global exposure for the study. An amount of INR 33,000 for workshops, student development fee, etc., is also required to be paid.
The institute offers various scholarship schemes and provides educational loans. To ease the financial burden, candidates can apply for the scholarships as well.
NOTE: In case candidates withdraw the admission before the session starts, the institute will refund the entire fees after deducting the processing fee of INR 1000.
