Diversity Scholarship: Diversity scholarships are extra benefits for students. These are given along with SRM merit scholarships. If a student gets more than one scholarship, only the highest benefit will be given. There are two types of diversity scholarships, and both give a 5% tuition fee waiver.
The first is Regional Diversity. Students who are from outside Tamil Nadu or Puducherry can get this 5% fee waiver. The second is Gender Diversity. All female students get a 5% fee waiver. For example, a female student from outside these states can get both benefits, while a male student from outside these states will still get at least a 5% fee waiver.
