Below is a brief description of the placement process for Sardar Bhagwan Singh University:
Once the University starts the placement process for its students, they send the invitations to various companies. It is up to the companies to accept or reject the invitation to be a part of the placement drive at this University.
Once the companies have accepted or rejected the placement invite, they can inform the University. Furthermore, the placement and training department will organise pre-placement talks with the companies that are taking part in the placement drive.
The University organises the pre-placement talks in which the companies talk about the available vacancies, the company's work culture, why students should work in their companies, and more.
After the pre-placement talks are over, students can register in the placement drive, so that they can appear for interviews or selection tests for the companies that they are interested in working for.
The companies that appear for the placement drive may organise various selection tests, such as Technical Rounds, Interviews, Written tests, and a final HR round to select students for their company. If a student wants to get into a particular college, they must take part in one or all the selection tests organised by the company.
The companies create a list of students selected during the placement drive and provide offer letters to the placement cell. They give the offer letter to the students, and it is up to the students to either accept or reject the offer letter. However, once a student has received an offer letter, they will not be allowed to sit in the placement drive anymore.
