Students who are interested in getting admission into Sardar Bhagwan Singh University Courses should make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• For admission into courses such as the BSc in Medical Microbiology, students should have passed class 12th in the PCB or PCM stream from a recognised board.
• To get admission into the BSc in Medical Lab Technology (Pathology), students should have completed class 12th through PCM or PCB from a recognised board or 10th with science and a 3-year diploma in MST. 

• Students who want to get admission into the B.Pharm course should have passed class 12th in PCM/ PCB from a recognised board. 

  Whereas, students who want to get admission into the B.Pharm through Lateral entry should have completed the D.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks. 

• Candidates who want to get admission into the BCA course should have passed class 12th and must have studied basic maths in 10th standard.

Special Scholarship

SBS University is offering a special scholarship on the occasion of completing 32 years of providing excellent higher education. The scholarship offers a 50% waiver on the net tuition fee and is limited to seats that don't exceed 25% of the total intake. Furthermore, this scholarship is applicable to all the UG programs, and admission in this category is based on merit. Students who want to apply for this scholarship need to pay INR 1500 as a registration fee. 

Merit Scholarship

The University offers scholarships to meritorious students who secure more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam. 

Tuition Fee Waiver for Sikh Minority Quota

With the help of this scholarship, sikh minority students are offered upto 100% concession in the tuition fee. A total of 5% of seats are reserved under the same quota based on merit. Furthermore, this scholarship will be offered to only those students whose parents’ or guardians’ annual income doesn’t exceed INR 8 lakhs per annum from all sources. 

Tuition Fee Waiver for Sports Quota

Students or sports personnel who have excelled at State or National level games are eligible for a concession in tuition fee upto 50%. A total of 5% seats are also reserved under the same quota based on merit. Furthermore, this scholarship can be availed by students whose parents’ or guardians’ annual income doesn’t exceed INR 8 LPA from all sources.

For the Scholarship process, a candidate must fulfil certain criteria and check the following terms and conditions, which are listed below:

• Submission Timeline

You must apply for the scholarship according to the admission schedule. Late applications may still be accepted, but only if the Scholarship Committee allows it.

• Verification, Approval & Disbursement

Verification -  The Admissions/Scholarship Cell will check your documents and eligibility.

Approval -  The SBSU Scholarship Committee will review and approve applications. If there are any special or unclear cases they will be sent to the Admission Department for further review.

• Duration & Renewal of Scholarships

Scholarships given at the time of admission are valid for the first year only.

They can be continued in the next year only if you meet these conditions:

You must maintain a CGPA equal to or higher than your qualifying exam marks.

You should have no backlogs in any subject.

You must have at least 80% attendance during the academic year.

• Misrepresentation & Fraud

If any documents are found to be fake or incorrect, your scholarship will be cancelled immediately. Strict action may also be taken, including expulsion or legal action.
