Here are the basic eligibility criteria for the Undergraduate and Diploma programs that students need to fulfil at the time of admission:
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology to be admitted to the BPharm program by securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, or PWD). Along with the academic requirements, students must have a valid score of WBJEE or JEE MAIN.
For admission to the BTech program, candidates must have completed Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% marks for the reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following subjects as required: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Technical Vocational. Mechanical and Civil Engineering specialisation students must take Physics, Math, and Chemistry subjects in Class 12. Another important requirement is passing the English subject with a minimum of 30%. Additionally, candidates must have valid scores in WBJEE or JEE MAIN.
To be admitted to the BArch program, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Also, 50% marks were secured individually in all three subjects. Moreover, the candidate must have valid ranks in NATA, WBJEE / JEE MAIN Paper-I. Students are also eligible to apply if they completed JEE MAIN Paper-II with 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and 50% in each of the subjects separately.
Students must possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology and receive qualifying scores on the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board's JELET exam to be admitted to the B.Tech Lateral Entry.
To be eligible for admission to the Diploma program, students must have completed their Class 12. According to WBSCT&VE&SD (TED) guidelines, applicants who are accepted under the management quota must have Class 12 marks.
For admission to the Diploma (Lateral Entry) in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, students must have completed two years of the ITI Program following Class 10 or have passed both Class 12 and the VOCLET test with valid scores.
