The main program of RICM is Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) specialising in Agri Business. It is a two year full-time course approved by AICTE that aims at providing students with the managerial skills that are distinctive to the agricultural and cooperative sector. The curriculum incorporates both theory and practice, such as internships, field visits and live projects. A bachelor’s degree in any field is required for PGDM admission.
In correspondence levels, there is the Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM) which will serve working individuals as well as employees who wish to know of flexible learning. Diploma in Computer Applications is aimed at equipping with the necessary IT skills especially the individuals based in cooperative societies in rural businesses. Another training program at RICM is the specialised training programs of the retiring defense personnel on how to fit into cooperative and management careers especially under the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR).

The Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM) in Chandigarh made special training provisions to retiring personnel of the defense under the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR). These courses will assist in enabling the Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (ORs) in smoothly moving to civilian employment particularly in the cooperative and agribusinesses.
