RBU, Nagpur offers admissions to various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs in different fields such as Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, etc. Students are selected based on their performance in entrance exams conducted at the national, state, or university level.

Admission to most courses is based on performance in national or state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT-CET, GATE, MAH-MBA/MMS CET, CAT, MAT, etc., or through the university's own entrance test, RUBEE (Ramdeobaba University Pre-Entrance Exam).

RUBEE for B.Tech and RUPEE for MBA and MCA were held on 17–18 April 2025. Students who have qualified in these exams are now eligible to apply for admission. Currently, admissions are open for various programs including B.Tech, MBA, and MCA. Students who have qualified are advised to finish the admission process soon to confirm their seats.

Ramdeobaba University Dates & Events

RBU Nagpur offers admission to various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses. Before applying, students need to check if they are eligible for the course. To get selected, they need to appear for a national or state-level entrance exam, or they can take the university’s own test called Ramdeobaba University Entrance Exam (RUBEE) (RUPEE). The final admission is based on the marks scored in any of these exams, and students are selected on a merit basis. 

• B.Tech: Students should pass Class 12 with Physics, Maths, and one more subject like Chemistry, Biology, or Computer. Candidates need at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category). Students must also appear in JEE Main, MHT-CET, or the university’s own exam, RUBEE.

• BBA: Students who have completed Class 12 in Science, Arts, or Commerce with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) can apply for the BBA course. To get admission, they need to appear for the MAH-BBA-CET 2025 entrance exam.

• M. Tech: To join the M.Tech course, students must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree in a related field from a recognised university. They should have scored at least 50% marks (45% for the reserved category). For admission, students need to either qualify for GATE 2025 or have a valid GATE 2025 score, even if not qualified.

• MBA: Students who have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognised university can apply for the MBA course. They need to score at least 50% marks overall (45% for students from reserved categories). Admission is based on scores from entrance exams such as MAH MBA CET 2025, MAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, or the university’s own exam, RUPEE 2025. Students can choose any of these exams to qualify for admission.

Ramdeobaba University has an active placement cell (CDPC) that helps students prepare for jobs through training in technical skills, soft skills, resume writing, and interview practice. It connects students with top recruiters like Accenture, Infosys, IBM, and JP Morgan. 

In 2025, the highest salary package offered was INR 25 LPA, and more than 100 companies visited the campus. Students also received international job offers from companies in the US, UAE, and Japan. The average salary for Computer Science students is INR 7.8 LPA. CDPC also arranges internships, with the highest stipend reaching up to INR 2 lakh per month. Ramdeobaba University Scholarships 2025 

RBU offers a range of scholarships for the academic year 2025–26 to support deserving students and promote academic excellence. Scholarships are available under different categories such as EWS (Economically Weaker Section), Merit Scholarships based on entrance exam scores, and scholarships for exceptional achievements in sports or other national/international fields.

EWS students can get a 50% discount on fees if they meet the government rules. Merit scholarships are given to students who score high marks in entrance exams like JEE, CET, CAT, GATE, and others. For example, B.Tech students who score 95 or above in JEE can get up to 70% fee discount. MBA and M.Tech students with high scores can get up to 50% off on their academic fees.

Students who have done very well in sports or other national and international competitions can get a 50% fee discount under the Exceptional Achievement Scholarship. Only 10 such scholarships are given. This scholarship is available for all courses and is checked every year based on student performance. To keep the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum CGPA, have no backlogs, and submit valid documents. This support helps students from all backgrounds continue their education with less financial burden and more encouragement to do well.
