Punjab Institute of Management and Technology, Fatehgarh Sahib, or widely recognised as PIMT situated in Mandi Gobindgarh in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab. It was established in 1997, the oldest Management institute, which comes under 2(f) of UGC. It is run by the Gobindgarh Educational and Social Welfare Trust.

Punjab Institute of Management and Technology Admission
A wide range of UG and PG courses, such as BBA, BCA, BTTM, BSc, MBA, and MCA are offered at PIMT. Candidates seeking admission must qualify through merit (primarily) and entrance tests. To be eligible for admission, applicants must follow a minimum requirement criterion, which, depending on the course. UG admissions will be determined by Class 12 marks, and PG admissions will be based on a Bachelor’s degree.

PIMT is one of the top Management institutes in Punjab that offers various UG and PG courses such as BBA, BCA, BSc, MBA, MCA, etc. Admission is primarily based on merit; however, scores of entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, etc, are accepted. To be able to get admitted to PIMT, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria, which are given below:
Eligibility Criteria for BSc: A minimum of 50% from Class 12th with a Science background from a recognised board/ council is required to become eligible for admission to BSc.
Eligibility Criteria for BBA: To be eligible for BBA admission, candidates must have secured 50%-55% marks in Class 12 from a recognised board.
Eligibility Criteria for BCA: For BCA, admission will be based on either Class 12th marks with a minimum required percentage or a three-year Diploma certificate from a recognised board.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA: Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% in a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university can get admission to the MBA course.
Eligibility Criteria for MCA: To be eligible for MCA admission, students must have completed their graduation or equivalent in any discipline from any UGC UGC-recognised university.
