Punjab Institute of Management and Technology provides an extensive range of courses, such as BBA, BCA, BCom and BSc at the UG level, MCA and MBA and at the PG level, which can be pursued through regular and distance modes. On the basis of merit, students will be accepted for admission. Students who have qualified national-level entrance exam can also apply for admission. It is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria, which include having qualified for Class 12th for UG admissions and having a qualified score in a Bachelor’s degree for PG admissions.
Admission for the 2025 academic session has been opened, and applications are being accepted online through the official website. The admission process will end by the first week of August 2025. Applicants are advised to enrol before the application window closes.
The institute provides a variety of courses which cover areas such as Management, Computer Applications, Tour and Travel, Hospitality, Science, etc. Namely, these courses are BBA, BCA, BSc, BCom, MBA, MCA, etc. The primary admission basis is merit. BBA: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50%-55% marks from a recognised board.
BCA: Admission requires either Class 12 with a minimum percentage or a 3-year diploma from an approved board.
MBA: Applicants seeking admission to the MBA course will be required to achieve at least 50% in a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
MCA: Candidates with a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in any discipline are mandatory for MCA admission.
NOTE: Reserved category students will be given relaxation as per government norms. All eligibility conditions must be fulfilled before applying.
Undergraduate admissions at PIMT include programs like BBA, BCA, BTTM (Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management), and BSc (in Food Technology). In addition to this, PIMT has introduced these courses available in distance mode. The UG courses are of 3 to 4 years, depending on which course is opted for by a student. Admission solely depends on marks achieved in Class 12. Selection is based on merit, and entrance exams are not mandatory for most UG courses. Applications are accepted online, and counselling may be conducted for final selection. Students are encouraged to apply early to secure their seats. The total tuition fees for UG courses are calculated to cost around INR 28,000 to INR 1,24,000.

BBA is one of the two flagship courses at PIMT. The course is offered in regular as well as in distance mode for three years. BBA covers many specialisations such as Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, International Business Management, Accounting, etc.
Applicants must have passed 10+2 or a 3-year diploma with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. No entrance exam is required, and selection is based on merit.
Admission to the BBA course at PIMT is open for 2025. Applicants are required to submit their application form through the official portal. At the time of admission, students will need to pay some charges, which will also include tuition fees. The total tuition fees for BBA will range from INR 28,000, which can go up to INR 93,000.
At PIMT, postgraduate courses include MBA and MCA, which are Management and Computer Application courses. Both courses will require a minimum of 2 years to complete. Primarily, the admission takes place based on merit, however, students having scores of entrance exams will be granted admission. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum required percentage is necessary for admission. Admission are taking place for the provided PG courses. If interested, candidates must fill out the application form by 07 August 2025 (Tentative). The total tuition fee is estimated to be around INR 1,20,000 for each course.
MBA is a two-year Management course offered at PIMT, covering various specialisations such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Development, IT, Operations, etc. PIMT accepts admission to the MBA course primarily on merit. However, if a student have scores of national entrance such as GRE, GMAT, CAT, etc., will also be considered.
It is expected of students to have at least 50% in a Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for MBA admission. As admissions are open, eligible candidates can apply before 07 August 2025 (Tentative). The whole course will cost approximately INR 1,20,000. PIMT provides 100% placement assistance to its students.
