Pimpri Chinchwad University Eligibility Criteria

The following is the list of eligibility criteria that an applicant has to satisfy to secure a seat in the desirable course in the university:

1. The very basic requirement is to have 10th and 12th with at least 60% to 50%, and 45% to 55% marks for the reserved category, depending on the course chosen.

2. For the B.Tech, the applicant must have completed their Class 12 from either of the given subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship. ‌

3. Applicants must hold a valid score card of any of the National Level Examinations: CAT, XAT, PERA, MH-CET, CUET, SAT & CMAT, or an entrance test conducted by the university itself.

4. For the B.Tech lateral entry, the applicant must have passed 3 years/2-year Diploma Examination with a minimum of 60% marks (55% of the reserved category). OR, must have passed B.Sc with the same percentile and also have done 10+2 with mathematics. 

5. To be eligible for the M.Tech CSE (AI), the applicant must have done bachelors degree in BE/B. Tech in Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics & Telecommunication with at least 50% marks. 

6. For the MBA, the university accepts a valid score card of any of the national-level entrance examinations, along with group discussion and personal interview.

7. Apart from the above mentioned criteria, the university itself also conducts and holds an entrance examination to test the eligibility of the applicant applying for the specific course.

To secure your seat at the Pimpri Chinchwad University, the student has to follow a certain set of easy steps, which are as follows:

1. Visit the official website of the university to get yourself registered.

2. Fill out the application form with all the required information and submit the form. 

3. Applicants are also required to upload photographs of themselves and their signature within 2 MB only. The allowed format is jpeg, JPG, png.

4. Review the entered information before submission. 

5. Pay the application fee, which is INR 1000 for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

6. Then, the evaluation of the applicant's profile is done based on their performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview.

7. After being shortlisted, the candidates who have received the offer letter from the university are supposed to make the payment of the fees. 

8. The students who get selected also have to pay the total sum of amount of INR 10,000, which is the admission fee.
