Parul University Overview
Parul University was established in 2015 under the Gujarat Private University Act 2009. It is one of the greatest universities, as Parul University ranking was 47 in the top 50 category of the top universities of the country for innovation achievements for 4 years. It is officially recognised as a ‘grade 1’ category university by UGC with a ‘Grant of Grade Autonomy,’ while NAAC has ranked it as a university with an A++ grade; it is, in fact, the youngest university in India to achieve this category of accreditation. The QS Asia University Rankings 2026 have also been very good for this university. Putting it in the 1001st position out of the top 1100 participating universities.
The university has a vast campus spreading across 150 acres of land in an area within the state of Gujarat. This campus is full of all the facilities necessary for conducting the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral as well as post-doctoral course programmes for the students. Apart from those courses, the university also offers dual degree, industry-embedded, pathway & online programmes for the students. All these courses are offered in different sectors, like engineering, science & management. It provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
The university is officially recognised by ASSOCHAM for the quality of placements offered at the campus placement drive. The highest package at Parul University Placements was INR 60 LPA. More than 22,000 companies were participating in those placement events, and more than 2500 students were placed here in total on an annual basis. Diploma admissions are based mainly on high school and intermediate academic scores.
Bachelor's degrees generally require passing marks and entrance exam scores for a merit-based first round, and a personal interview in the final round.
Master's degrees require passing marks at the graduate level in the same streams and entrance test scores for admission.
Doctoral programmes need a minimum of 2 years of research experience with academic qualifications to be eligible for the PhD course admissions.

Parul University Eligibility Criteria 2026
The applicants are selected on the overall score based on the following factors:, academic qualifications, entrance tests & personal Interview (PI) round. Here is an overview of the basic eligibility criteria:
The diploma programmes require applicants to have passed high school with 35% passing marks from a recognised college with English as a chosen subject in the syllabus.
Undergraduate courses need students who have passed intermediate with a minimum of 45% marks in the respective streams from a recognised college.
Postgraduate courses only take in students having at least 45% marks at the graduation level from any recognised university.
Doctoral/postdoctoral programs take students based on 55% minimum marks (for general category candidates) in the master’s level done through any recognised university
Industry-embedded programmes require students to have an academic score of a minimum of 7 CGPA at the intermediate level, no pending fees, no previous visa cancellations and a clear track record with zero misconduct.
