Pandit Deendayal Energy University was founded in the year 2007 as the Petroleum University. It is a leading Private university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. B.Tech	Students must qualify for JEE (Mains) 2026. They should pass 12th with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in Physics and Maths along with Chemistry/Biology/Computer/Vocational subjects. PCB students who want B.Tech Biotechnology can apply using the GUJCET 2026 score. Selection is based on JEE rank and seat availability.
B.Tech (Through ACPC)	Students must appear for GUJCET 2026 and complete registration on the ACPC portal. They must score a minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in 12th with Physics and Maths and one additional relevant subject. Admission is given according to ACPC merit rules.
B.Tech Lateral Entry	Candidates can apply through the ACPC portal. They should complete a 3 or 4-year diploma approved by AICTE or State Technical Board. They must also appear for the DDCET exam of the current year.
BA (Hons.) / BBA (Hons.)	Students must complete 12th class from any stream. English must be studied as a subject in Class 12.
B.Com (Hons.) / BA (Hons.) (Commerce)	Students must pass 12th in Commerce stream or study Accounting/Commerce subjects in 12th. English is required as one of the subjects.
BA LLB	Students must pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board in any stream. General category students need at least 45% marks. OBC students must score a minimum 42% marks. SC/ST students need at least 40% marks. It is compulsory to appear for SOLLACE (School of Law Admission Common Exam) for admission. Students who have a valid CLAT score do not need to appear for SOLLACE.
LLB	Candidates must complete a graduation degree in any subject from a university recognized by UGC or AICTE. General category students must score at least 45% marks in graduation. OBC students need a minimum 42% marks. The minimum marks required for SC/ST students is 40%. Students must appear for SOLLACE (School of Law Admission Common Exam) for admission.
BSc	Students who want to apply for B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Data Science must pass 12th class with Physics and Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology. IB board students should follow the university admission policy. For BSc in Data Science, Commerce students can also apply. English must be one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
MBA	Candidates who have taken CAT 2025, XAT 2026, NMAT 2025 or GMAT (between 2024 and 2026) can apply for admission.
