Numerous Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programs in a variety of specializations, including BA LLB, LLM, Artificial Intelligence (AI), are available for enrollment at National Law University Jodhpur. Depending on the course, admissions are determined by both entrance exam results and merit. Students must apply online through the university's official website, and there is an application fee of INR 2,500 (1,500 -reserved category, INR 5000- NRI) for the PhD program. The university provides admission to multiple courses such as integrated UG program in BBALLB, BALLB, PG program in LLM and MBA in Insurance and Risk Management with different eligibility criteria. Moreover the university offers Diploma in Insurance Risk Management, various Certificate and PhD courses in numerous specialisations.
Some of the courses such as BALLB, LLM, PhD, require a national entrance exam to qualify: CLAT, UGC-NET JRF. For other courses admission is merit based i.e. based on the performance of last academic exams.
Students who have not qualified for UGC-NET must appear for an entrance test conducted by the university, followed by an interview. Aspirants who have a valid score in UGC NET are exempted from the university’s entrance exam. Students must pay an application fee to apply for admission before the specified date. The application fee for MBA and Diploma in Insurance Risk Management Program is INR 1000, while for PhD program, the application fee is INR 2,500.

National Law University Jodhpur Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirement for each course at National Law University of Jodhpur is different depending on the level of the program. Students must meet the course's academic requirements such as for a MBA admission, candidates must have a bachelors degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
Candidates may apply if they are pursuing their bachelor's degree final exam. They must submit their marksheets from the previous year or semester, together with the Migration Certificate from the previous educational institution, and the original final exam sheet with the minimum scores mentioned above under eligibility. For admission to the BBALLB program, candidates must have a valid score in the CLAT Exam and Class 12 with 45% marks (40% for SC and ST Candidates).
Candidates willing to pursue a PhD program in Management must have passed the UGC NET JRF or the Entrance exam conducted by the university. Additionally, students must have a bachelor's degree with 55% marks from a recognised university (50% for the reserved category). Aspirants studying in the last year of a bachelor's program can also apply by submitting the marksheets of previous year exams and a migration certificate.

For academic sessions 2025-2026, NLUJ offers integrated UG Programs in BALLB and BBALLB with a 5-year duration. For admission to this program students must complete the application form and must be eligible for the required program. The minimum eligibility criteria include a valid score in the CLAT Exam with the result of Class 12 with 45% marks (40% for SC and ST). The admission is available for both domestic as well as international students with fees ranging from INR 3,00,000 per year for domestic students to INR 12,00,000 annually for NRI Students.

The university offers mainly two programs in Postgraduation which are LLM and MBA in Insurance and Risk Management. The duration of programs varies from 1 to 2 years. Students can choose a Diploma program in Insurance Risk Management at NLU Jodhpur. To be admitted to the same program, students must have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech) degree from any discipline from a recognised university or institution, with at least 50% marks or a minimum of 50% in Class 10 and 12 grades. Applications are also accepted from candidates pursuing their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) final exam. They must submit their mark sheets from the previous year of course.
