NIT Srinagar has collaborated with top domestic and international companies. Some of the companies that visited the campus for placements are Infosys, Samsung, Optum, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Vedanta, Reliance, Wipro, NTPC, Amazon, Honda, TATA, ACC, Cognizant, etc.
The placement drive for the 2025 batch has not been conducted yet. According to the placement data of 2023, the median salary package offered was INR 10.48 LPA. In the engineering domain, the CSE branch bagged the highest salary package of INR 36.50 LPA. The average salary package provided for the CSE branch was INR 13.80 LPA.
