NIT Raipur Overwiew
Located in the capital city of Chhattisgarh, NIT Raipur was established in 1956. It was set up as the Government College of Mining and Metallurgy. In 2005, the college was granted the status of a National Institute of Technology.
NIT Raipur has been conferred with the title of Institute of National Importance, where some of the courses are accredited by NBA and approved by AICTE. NIT Raipur received its statutory status under National Institute of Technology Act, 2007 and is funded by the Government of India.
The institute offers courses in multi-disciplinary streams under UG, PG and PhD programmes. Presently, there are around 12 disciplines at UG level. At Postgraduate level, it offers MTech, MSc and MCA courses. The institute also offers PhD programmes.
NIT Raipur has a vast campus in terms of area, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The facilities inside the campus include academic buildings, library, sports complex, labs, etc.

NIT Raipur Admissions
