NIT Manipur Eligibility Criteria

For the 2025 admission to the NIT, Manipur, the eligibility criteria vary as per the course and the level of the course. For admission to the undergraduate degree program (B.Tech), applicants must hold a minimum aggregate score of 75% for the general and OBC category students in 12th with PCM as a major subject. For a PhD degree course, applicants are required to clear the GATE or NET entrance examination and hold a minimum score of 60% in a master’s degree with relevant subjects from a recognized board.

Moreover, the NIT Manipur also provides seats to the Non-IIT JAM or Non-GATE applicants for the full-time and part-time programs for 2025-26 academic batch.
