NIT Hamirpur offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the disciplines of Engineering and Science. The admissions process for the B.Tech is based on previous academic performance and the national entrance examination. Candidates must clear the Class 12th marksheet with a minimum of 70% marks (65% for reserved categories) and a valid score in the JEE Main examination and participate in centralised counselling.
Postgraduate admissions for MTech programs require valid GATE scores, while MBA candidates need CAT, CMAT, and MAT entrance scores. PhD admissions are based on GATE/NET scores, followed by presentation, group discussion, and a personal interview conducted by the institute. For B.Tech programs, students must clear class 12th with at least 75% marks and (65%for SC/ST/PwD) from a recognised board
Students must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks and 55% for reserved categories for MBA programs, along with a valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT.
Candidates who have appeared for the final examination can also apply, but they must provide their final degree by 15 September 2025.
