NIT Mizoram offers admission for the UG, PG, Integrated Ph.D and Dual-Degree programs in various fields like Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Data Science. For B.Tech courses, candidates must clear the JEE Main examination, followed by JoSAA or CSAB counselling process. Eligibility requirements include a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD). Seat allotments are based on JEE Main ranks and the counselling rounds.

The eligibility criteria for UG, PG and Ph.D courses differ based on the area of study. For UG programs like B.Tech, students must have completed their Class 12 in PCM with a minimum of 75% marks for General and OBC categories and 65% marks for SC/ST categories. JEE Main score will be the base for admission to NIT Mizoram, and seat allotment will be done through JoSAA or CSAB counselling.
For M.Tech programs, candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, with a minimum of 60% marks (with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD applicants). Admission is primarily based on the GATE exam, and candidates must participate in CCMT counselling for seat allocation.
