Malaviya National Institute of Technology(MNIT) is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Institute was established in 1963 and is one of the leading technical institutions in India. For the year 2025, Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) provides admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in various engineering, science, and technology courses. For 4-year UG courses like Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech.), eligible candidates should have passed Class 12 with an aggregate of 75% marks (65% for reserved categories). Additionally, an eligible candidate should have a valid score in the JEE Main examination.
For a 2-year full-time postgraduate course like the Master of Technology(M.Tech), an eligible candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks (5% relaxation for reserved candidates). Additionally,a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or other national-level tests is required.
To qualify for the PhD course, applicants should have a master's degree with an aggregate of 60% marks (55% for reserved candidates). The State Government provides several scholarships to aid students pursuing higher education. The Post Matric Scholarship (Rajasthan State) is provided to SC/ST students having a family income up to INR 2.50 LPA, for non-refundable charges and maintenance allowances. There is also a corresponding scholarship scheme for OBC-BPL students with a family income cap of INR 1 LPA.
The Post Matric Scholarship (Other States) assists SC/ST students from other states with a family income of INR 2.50 LPA, granting non-refundable fees and maintenance allowances. Mukhya Mantri Sarvajan Uchcha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana 2014 provides 50% of non-refundable charges to NIT students belonging to Rajasthan with an annual family income of less than INR 5 LPA.
The Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna provides support to Madhya Pradesh students with an INR 6 LPA family income who have obtained high scores in their 12th examination and possess a JEE Mains rank below 1,50,000.
