The academic session of the PG Programs is divided into two semesters within a year. The odd semester will normally commence around July every year, and the even semester around December every year. Departments/ centres may choose to admit students in both semesters, for which the reasons should be communicated to the Senate.
Admissions to the M. Tech./ M. Plan. and PhD. programs may be made in either or both of the two regular semesters. Admissions to the M. Tech./ M. Plan./ MBA and PhD. Programs are normally made in May/ June for the first semester and in November/ December for the second semester. The Dean of Academic (DA) shall notify the academic calendar for each semester after due approval of the Senate.

The eligibility conditions given below are the absolute minimum. The "specified minimum" CGPA/ marks is 6.5 on the 10-point scale (60% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded) for M. Tech./ M. Plan. and PhD, with a relaxation for SC/ ST, implying a minimum of 6.0 on the 10-point scale (55% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded)
For M. Tech./ M. Plan. (Full-Time)Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/ AMIE in the appropriate discipline or a Master's degree in the relevant discipline with specified minimum CGPA/ marks. Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specified minimum CGPA/ marks.
Malaviya National Institute of Technology UG Admission 2025
Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur is offering undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025. The B.Tech program in various specialisations has an annual fee of INR 56,287. Eligibility for admission requires a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2, and admission is based on the JEE Main exam.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur is requesting applications for admission to PhD courses for the session 2025. For Ph.D. in Management, candidates should possess an MBA degree, preferably from an engineering background, or M.Tech./M.Plan, with a CGPA of at least 6.5 on a ten-point scale or 60% marks (wherever CGPA is not given).
For Ph.D. in Engineering/Architecture, the applicants should hold a Master's degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 (60% marks). Outstanding students with a Bachelor's degree CGPA of more than 8.0 from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) or NIRF-ranked institutions (up to 100) can also be considered on other terms, such as relevant experience and publications.
