MIT Purnea Admission Process
Millia Institute of Technology (MIT), Purnea, admissions are open for the academic session 2025-26. The institute offers B.Tech, MCA, MBA, and Diploma in Engineering courses, with a special focus on nurturing future business leaders through its 2-year MBA program. The admission is mostly entrance-based through the BPTPIA entrance test and then the counselling. The application window opened in June 2025, and the interested candidates will have to apply by 31 July 2025 (Tentative).

The institute has a huge number of programs, namely, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in five specialisations, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. B.Tech, Diploma and MBA admissions are all done through BPTPIA, whereas MCA admissions are done on a merit basis. The candidates who are eligible should have the necessary academic qualifications and should sit the entrance test. The application fees of INR 2000 have to be paid by students.

MIT Purnea Eligibility Criteria 2025
MBA Admission: Students require a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. Selection is based on the BPTPIA entrance test and counselling.
B.Tech Admission: Students must have passed Class 12 or I.Sc (PCM) with at least 45% marks. For the SC and ST, passing percentage is 40%. Moreover, admission is based on BPTPIA entrance test.
Diploma Admission: Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent to apply for Diploma programs. ITI holders are eligible for lateral entry. Admission is granted through the BPTPIA entrance examination and counselling.
MCA Admission: The candidates should possess a degree at Bachelor level and should have Mathematics at graduation level or Class 12 level. The MCA program is offered on merit basis and it is then followed by counselling and verification of documents.
MIT Purnea B.Tech Admission 2025
The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program at MIT Purnea is offered in five major engineering disciplines: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. B.Tech program is a 4-year program at MIT Purnea. The Civil and Mechanical Engineering departments have an intake of 120 seats each, while Electrical, Electronics & Communication, and Computer Science Engineering offer 60 seats each. To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10+2 or I.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The annual fee for all B.Tech programs is INR 80,000. Admission is granted through the BPTPIA entrance test followed by counselling.
MIT Purnea Diploma Admission 2025
MIT Purnea provides 3 years full-time Diploma in Engineering course in 4 core specializations i.e. Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The intake capacity of each of the programs is 60 seats and the candidates must have passed Class 10 in a recognized board. Both the diploma programs cost INR 50,000 per annum. The admission of such courses is done by BPTPIA entrance test and counselling.
MIT Purnea MCA Admission 2025
The MCA program at MIT Purnea is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in computer applications and IT solutions. It is a 2-year full-time course with an intake capacity of 60 seats and an annual fee of INR 50,000. Admission to the MCA program is based on merit, and candidates must have a graduation degree with Mathematics as a subject at either the 10+2 or graduation level.

The MBA course at MIT Purnea is aimed at equipping the students with the real world business challenges with the help of analytical skills, leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills, and the knowledge of the specific area of study. It is a 2-year full time program that has an intake of 60 students with an annual fee of INR 50,000. The admission is done through BPTPIA entrance test and counselling. The program has specialisation in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations.
