The Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, provides a full choice of programs with admissions on the basis of either a combination of the results of the qualifying exams and efficient performance on the corresponding entrance exams. The university not only has courses of different time spans through which they are offered (e.g., 4-year B.Tech programs). In the case of undergraduate programs, admission depends mainly on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and the grades of the JEE Main or the SAT. In the case of two-year postgraduate courses, such as MBAs, the applicants are chosen on the basis of national-level exams, such as CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT.
The Manipal University’s admission process is an entirely online process. And, as in all programs, it means satisfying the particular eligibility qualifications of the course selected and passing the corresponding entrance examination. The course application fee differs for courses. In both the case of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the application fee is normally approximately INR1,000.

Undergraduate (UG) Programs
The candidates should have completed 10 + 2 or a similar examination by a recognized board to be eligible. Manipal University basically requires an aggregate mark of 5%, but this may be less. In the case of B.Tech programs, the student has to have taken Physics, Mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects in 10+2 and one out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Biology. Most UG programs use the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) as the primary entrance test. In the case of B.Tech, JEE Main or SAT scores are also accepted. Admission is determined upon review of the qualified examination marks of the candidate and performance in the respective entrance examination, after which the counselling procedure is done.
Postgraduate (PG) Programs
The criteria are a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate percentage that can differ according to the program. In the case of the MBA program, selections are reviewed on the basis of national-level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or CUET PG. The scores of the accepted entrance exams and marks of the qualifying degree, followed by the selection test by the university, which may consist of an interview or group discussion, are the basis of final admission.

Manipal University, Jaipur, Scholarships 2025
The Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, has a range of scholarships to provide to academically excellent students and the financially weaker section.
TMA Pai Engineering Scholarship: There are two scholarships per branch of engineering, and they are awarded on the basis of the position obtained in the MET. The first topper will have a 100% tuition fee waiver, and the second topper will have a 50% waiver. Students are required to have a CGPA of 8.0 or more in order to retain the scholarship.
Dr. TMA Pai Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students whose CGPA is 8.5 or higher, where a 25-50% waiver of the tuition fee is provided.
Scholarships to the wards of the Indian Military and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF): Under this scholarship scheme, the children of the military personnel and CAPF personnel are given a free waiver of the tuition fee.
There are also options for merit-based scholarships for other undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
