Management Development Institute Murshidabad Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Before applying, students must check the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Below, we’ve mentioned the eligibility criteria for each courses offered by the MDI:
To be admitted to the BBA Program, students must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates pursuing Class 12 can also apply. Along with this, admission is based on the internal examination and CUET scores.
For admission to PGDM, aspirants must have a bachelor's degree with 50% marks and a valid score in the CAT/XAT/GMAT. Candidates who are in the final year of a bachelor's degree are also eligible for PGDM admission.
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university is required for admission to the PGDM Online program. Additionally, two years of work experience are required for PGDM Online admission. Internships are not included in the work experience.
Students must have completed a Master's degree with at least 60% marks or five years of an integrated program with a minimum of 60% marks for admission to the Fellowship program in Management. Additionally, students must have valid scores on the UGC-JRF, GATE, GMAT, GRE, CAT, and XAT. Applicants who do not meet these entrance requirements are required to take the MDI Murshidabad Research Aptitude Test. Along with the application details, a 5,000-word abstract must be submitted on their area of research interest.

An amount of INR 8,500 to INR 10,600 is awarded in scholarships based on marks obtained. Apart from scholarships, FPM candidates get a stipend of INR 35,000 every month till proposal acceptance. After the acceptance of the proposal stipend of INR 40,000 will be given to students.
