Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) is a private university located in Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh. KL University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
KL University (Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation) is able to offer many programs in terms of Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in different subjects. All of the programs have their own eligibility requirements in the 2026 academic year.
- B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology):
To apply for B.Tech, students should have completed Class 12 and must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects from a recognised board and score above 60 per cent marks. The admissions are primarily done on the basis of the KL University Engineering Entrance Exam (KLEEE) or other national level examinations such as JEE Main or EAMCET. - M.Tech (Master of Technology):
The applicants must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with above 55% marks. There are M.Tech programs that also require candidates to take the university entrance test. - MBA (Master of Business Administration):
The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university and 55 per cent marks. One will be guaranteed admission by passing exams, including KLMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT or the university entrance test. The candidates can have a personal interview or a faculty interaction round after the exam. - M.Sc / M.Pharm / M.A / M.Tech (Science, Management or Other Streams):
The applicants must have a 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the field of study at a Bachelor level. The university may also need to conduct an entrance test for some of the programs. - PhD (Doctoral Programs):

KL University Scholarships
KLEF Deemed to be University has a variety of special scholarships that help the students belonging to different backgrounds and motivate them to educate. Students who are in SC, ST and differently abled groups are offered a scholarship of INR 10,000/year and an OBC student is allowed INR 5,000/year. The siblings of existing KLEF students are also offered a scholarship of INR 10,000 per year to enter any program provided they have not taken any programs previously. The same sum of INR 10,000 per year scholarship is offered to single girl children and children of the KLE alumni. The university also offers special scholarships to talented sports students and children of ex army workers. Such scholarships aim to promote education, acknowledge performance and help students with special needs.
