JIS University Training 

The university offers a handful of training and internship opportunities to the students. For the students pursuing B.Tech (Computer Science & Allied Streams), there are training opportunities available in the industrial trending domains such as Python Programming, Data Structures, Data Analytics, MERN Stack Development, Big Data Technologies, Cybersecurity, IoT, AWS, and SAP Certification program is also available for interested candidates. Students of B.Tech Allied, BBA & MBA Programs receive the chance of Soft Skills & Aptitude Training, MBA Skill Enhancement and Industrial Training (BBA & MBA). In the pharmaceutical industry, the domains open for the training program for a duration of 30 days. In the Medical Laboratory Technology department, candidates get 6 months of comprehensive training for the Final Year Hospital Training. Students also recieve corporative training by Wipro in the domain of Pharmacovigilance and Materiovigilance. The university also has ServiceNow Collaboration, which is determined to offer placement support as well.

The Training and Placement Cell at JIS University works in close collaboration with leading industries to make the campus recruitment process easy and efficient. From calling the recruiter to announcing the final selection, every step is well-organised to ensure a smooth experience for both students and employers.

1. Recruiter Invitation: The Placement and Training Cell invites the leading companies to participate in the campus placement drive conducted in the university. The recruiters and industry connections looking to hire students can also directly get in touch with the Training and Placement Officer to share their hiring requirements.

2. Student Profile Sharing: According to the requirements of the recruiters, the training cell shares the profile details of the eligible and registered final-year students for the company profiling.

3. Recruitment Schedule: After a mutual discussion between the recruiters and the training and placement cell,  a suitable date for the campus placement drive is finalised. 

4. Pre-Placement Talk: Before the placement process begins, the hiring company is allowed to conduct a pre-placement talk in which the recruiters describe the job roles, career opportunities, and selection process. 

5. Selection Process: After the pre-placement talks, the company conducts placement drives in different stages, which include:

• Aptitude Test
• Technical Test
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

6. Final Selection: After completing all the recruitment rounds, the company is requested to announce and submit the final list of selected students on the same day, ensuring a quick and transparent hiring process.
