ITM Vocational University Vadodara is a part of the ITM Group of Institutions. The University was established in 2014 and it is India’s first Vocational University that offers practical and job-oriented training, so that students become job-ready. With the help of its experienced faculty and programs aligned with industry needs, the University helps students become job-ready while earning internationally recognised qualifications.
The University offers several undergraduate and postgraduate courses with a strong focus on employability. Furthermore, the ITM Vocational University Gujarat Vadodara is approved by the UGC and is a member of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO), Association of Indian Universities, and the World Council of Optometry (WCO). In February 2025, the University was awarded a B+ grade by NAAC.

ITM Vocational University Admission Overview 2026
The University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It also offers a diploma and an Executive MBA course. Some of these courses include BBA, B.Tech, B.Optom, Executive MBA, MSc in Industrial Chemistry, and more. Admissions for the 2026-27 session are currently open, and candidates can fill out the online application form to get admission into any of these courses before the last date.
For example, students who want to get admission into the B.Tech course should have completed class 12th with PCM. Selected students get to study different specialisations, such as Computer Science Engineering in Data Science, Cloud Technology & Information Security, Mechanical, Civil, and Mechatronics Engineering.
ITM Vocational University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Students who want to get admission into any of the courses offered by the University have to make sure that they fulfill the eligibility requirements for their preferred course:
Candidates who have passed class 12th in any stream can apply for admission into the BCA course.
For the B.Tech course, students should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory subjects.
Courses such as BBA require students to have passed class 12th in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks.
For the Bachelor of Optometry course, students should have completed their 12th class in PCM or PCB. Whereas, if a student wants to get a lateral entry into this course, they need to have a diploma in Optometry from a recognised university.
Courses such as B.Sc Industrial Chemistry accept applications from students who have completed the 12th class in PCM or PCB.
If a candidate wants to apply for the MSc in Industrial Chemistry program, they must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks.
Students applying for an E-MBA, should have completed their graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or board.
For the diploma in Chemical Engineering course, students should have completed class 10th from a recognised board.
