The admission at the IPS Academy Indore is conducted as per the guidelines of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and respective regulatory bodies through a transparent online admission process. Most UG admissions are based on a 10+2 qualification with minimum required marks. Meanwhile, some professional courses also require entrance exams such as JEE, NATA, CMAT or DTE/MP counselling.
PG courses admissions are generally based on a relevant bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks. It may also include entrance exams or counselling as applicable. Diploma and certificate courses offer flexible eligibility, with admission based on minimum academic qualification and, in some cases, direct admission or simple entrance tests.
PhD admissions require a relevant master’s degree along with a qualification in entrance tests like DET/NET/SET, followed by an interview or RAC process. Admissions across all the colleges follow a merit-based selection, online registration, counselling procedures and reservation policies as per the state and central government norms. Some programs like BA and MA in Mass Communication provide direct admission, without going through any counselling. For the UG courses, the candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Some courses also require specific subject qualifications. Majorly, programs require a minimum of 45% to 50% marks, with relaxation for the reserved categories as per government norms.
For professional courses like Architecture, candidates must qualify in entrance exams such as NATA or JEE. Similarly, for the pharmacy and hotel management courses, the candidates should fulfil subject-specific requirements along with the minimum marks criteria. For commerce, management, arts and law programs, students from any stream can apply. Law courses like BA LLB and BBA LLB follow the guidelines of the Bar Council of India and provide category-based relaxation in marks.
For most of the postgraduate courses, the candidates must have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Applicants are also required to have at least 50% to 55% marks, while some specialised courses may need specific backgrounds (like a B.Tech. degree for M.Tech.). The MBA program requires candidates to have a scorecard of the CMAT examination to be eligible for admission.
For the diploma and certificate courses, the eligibility is more flexible. Students can apply after 10th or 12th, depending on the program. The BBA programme is a three-year full-time degree divided into six semesters. It focuses on developing knowledge of students in business management, leadership skills and practical knowledge.
