IRMA Eligibility Criteria

For the PGDM course, the institute accepts students who hold at least a score of 50% in their undergraduate level in any discipline for admission of the general category students. IRMA PGDM Admission 2026
The Institute of Rural Management PGDM (Rural Management) course is a specialised program offering 2 years of full-time residential studies with various majors along with IRMA placements and placement support. Moreover, its executive program, PGDM (RM-X), covers the full-time study duration of 15 months. The IRMA Executive program is designed for working professionals. For admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course, students must have a minimum score of 45% to 50% depending on the student’s category.
For securing seats at the IRMA Anand, students are required to achieve a qualifying rank in the national level entrance examination of the Management studies that covers CAT, XAT, CMAT or IRMA Written Ability Test (IRMAWAT), followed by the Personal Interview.
Additionally, the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) cutoff for the PGDM course has no minimum requirement for the entrance exam, but the students must score good marks to be considered for admission. The Sponsored Candidates are also required to provide a minimum work experience of 3 years at the managerial or executive level, post-graduation. However, no admission is accepted for the PGDM course by the IRMA Anand under the management quota.
