Placement criteria of the Institute of Marketing and Management is conducted in a very structured manner. Students have to go through aptitude tests and Reasoning tests. Mock interviews and Skill development sessions are held frequently. Communication skills and Group discussion preparation drives also run from time to time.
IMM has a strong placement cell, CRC (Corporate Resource Centre), that focuses on the whole placement process. CRC provides internship drives, placement drives and training sessions for students. Mock interviews, GD and pre-placement Talks are also run by CRC for the students. IMM strictly follows a structured and multiple-phase placement process, which is driven by the CRC.
The placement process at IMM follows shortlisting, training and final placement. During the placement process, CRC provides workshops and mentorship sessions for better placement training to the students.
IMM New Delhi offers internship programs up to 8 to 10 weeks, which help students to gain industry experience. Some placements are done on Pre Placement Offers (PPO). During the recent placement drive, around 107 companies visited the IMM Campus and around 27 pre-placement offers were made by companies to the students.
Top recruiting Companies are Wipro, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Decathlon, etc., visited the campus for placement drives. The average salary package offered to the students stood at INR 9 to 9.5 LPA.
The highest domestic package offered to the IMM students was INR 19.35 LPA, while the international salary package was INR 21 LPA. More than 14.2% placements took place in the Finance and Banking sector, 14.2% in Consulting sector, 14.2% in IT and Telecom sector and about 10.5% of placements took place in EdTech sector.
