Biotechnology is a vast branch of science, which is not confined or bound as a single discipline but includes many interdisciplinary branches of science, rapidly gaining significance and opportunities for youngsters who want to explore the new frontiers of science. Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology is a postgraduate course, which deals with and other fields. M.Sc. Biotechnology is two years post-graduation program, affiliated to CCS University, Meerut, with an occupancy of 30 seats. The program focuses on intensive research, embedded teaching and learning process.

IMS Ghaziabad Diploma Courses

The Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time, AICTE-approved programme, equivalent to an MBA and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The IMS Ghaziabad offers, as the flagship programme of IMS Ghaziabad, the PGDM, which is designed to be rigorous, industry-oriented, and outcome-driven, preparing students to meet the dynamic challenges of the corporate world.

This programme follows a trimester system, beginning in July, with each term lasting 11–12 weeks. A mandatory component of this course also includes a 6 to 8 weeks of summer internship within the first three semesters of the curriculum. This internship provides students with valuable industry experience. The curriculum integrates academic excellence, corporate interface, and holistic development, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, ethical leadership, emotional intelligence, and professional values.

IMS Ghaziabad offers several specialised courses in PGDM to provide managerial education focusing on the changing needs of the industry:

  • Marketing: The marketing specialisation focuses on consumer behaviour, branding, digital marketing, analytics, customer experience management, etc. This program combines creativity with data-driven decision-making, preparing students for roles in sectors such as FMCG, retail, technology, consulting, etc.

  • Finance: Designed to develop strategic and analytical financial leaders, the finance specialisation covers corporate finance, investment management, financial modelling, risk management, and wealth management, supported by hands-on exposure to financial tools and real-world cases.

  • Human Resource Management: Prepares future-ready HR professionals with expertise in talent management, HR analytics, digital HR, employee engagement, and organisational development. The focus is on aligning people strategy with business outcomes while upholding ethics and governance.

  • Operations Management: It emphasises production, supply chain, logistics, quality management, ERP systems, Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0. The specialisation equips students with analytical and process optimisation skills essential for manufacturing, services, logistics, and e-commerce sectors.

  • Business Analysis: It focuses on data-driven decision-making using statistics, machine learning, AI, and big data tools. Candidates gain proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and other trending technologies. These technologies enable to building careers in analytics, consulting, and technology-driven business roles.

Teaching–Learning Approach

Across all specialisations, the PGDM programme adopts a blended pedagogy that combines classroom learning with case studies, simulations, live projects, industry internships, certifications, and expert interactions. Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

The postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) is a full-time 2-year course which is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), and this course is equivalent to MBA (Master of Business Administration). This is associated with the Indian universities (AIU), and this is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). This is the flagship program that is offered by IMS Ghaziabad, which is highly comprehensive, rigorous and results-oriented by design. To overcome the increasing number of diverse challenges, the business leaders need to think innovatively, and they also need to act strategically to compete and gain a competitive edge. Whereas enhancing the skills and broad horizons is the key element for any teaching and learning opportunities. The university focuses on this program for developing competent managerial human resources for the industries that are ready to face the continuously changing challenges in the corporate world. The curriculum is a mixture of critical thinking, with the three dimensions where they not only focus on achieving the highest standards of academic excellence, but also on achieving a highly effective corporate interface backed with multifaceted development opportunities.
