IIT Ropar Eligibility Criteria
Students must follow these eligibility criteria to get admission at IIT Ropar:
Pass 12th grade with 75% marks (65% for SC/ST students) and qualify for JEE Advanced for B.Tech programs
A bachelor's degree with a valid GATE score is needed for M.Tech programs
BTech graduates from IITs with 8.0 CGPA (7.5 for SC/ST/PD) can apply without GATE.
IIT JAM score required for MSc courses
PG courses need a Bachelor's degree with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST students) in the relevant field
Ph.D programs require a Master's degree in the relevant field with 60% marks, with passing the institute's written test and interview
