IIM Visakhapatnam EMBA Course Details
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme is a 2 year which is offered at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV). The EMBA programme is specially designed for the working professionals with an objective to provide management education to the executives seeking for enhancing their skills as well as knowledge which are necessary for understanding the challenges of modern business organisations.

For the admission to the EMBA Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam it is mandatory for the students to complete the eligibility criteria. The requirements for the admission are as follows:
Only Indian residents are allowed to enroll for the EMBA Programme at IIM Visakhapatnam.
Along with that candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree from a well-recognised educational institution. Students must have minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying examination which are: 50% marks or equivalent CGPA for general category, 45% for candidates belonging to the Non Creamy Layer–Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 40% marks for students belonging from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.
Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a duration of 3 years after completing their higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.
Students are also required to have minimum 3 years of work experience and Part-time work experience, clerical (non-officer/ non-executive) experience, and apprenticeship will not be counted as the work experience.
Moreover, for the admission in the EMBA Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam candidates need to appear and secure minimum aggregate marks in the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) followed by a personal interview.

The Post-Graduate Programme in Management for the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions of National Importance (PGPMCI) Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam is offered in the duration of 2 years. PGPMCI Programme is Specially designed for the students of of Participating Technical Institutions (PTIs) in 2nd or 3rd or 4th year B.Tech (any Branch) or any semester of M.Tech programme (any branch) as well as for the Graduating alumni of current year and immediately preceding year batch of B.Tech and M.Tech from all NITs and IIITs (irrespective of the status of MoU with IIMV). The PGPMCI Programme has three terms in each year. Candidates who complete the eligibility criteria do not require to appear for the CAT entrance exam and the eligibility of IIM Viskhaptanam Course are as follows.

There are two modules in the PGPMCI Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam and for each module it is mandatory for the candidates to complete the eligibility criteria which are given below
Module 1 Eligibility Criteria:
Undergraduate candidates must be from 2nd , 3rd and 4th year of B.Tech programme whereas postgraduates students can be from any semester of M.Tech programme of PTI’s.
Alumni who have completed their B.Tech/M.Tech in the current year as well as in previous years from NITs or IITs can take admission in the PGPMCI Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam.
Along with that from enrolling in the IIM Visakhapatnam course candidates are also required to score minimum marks in the Qualifying degree which is 50% marks general category, 45% for EWS and NC-OBC, 40% marks for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
Module 2 Eligibility Criteria:
For admission in the Module 2 of IIM Visakhapatnam candidates need to complete Module 1 successfully.
Candidates need to complete their B.Tech degree before the starting of module 2 as well as applicants pursuing M.tech degree can take admission as they already hold a graduate degree (B.Tech).

The applicants have work experience (full time employment) in Department of Defence Production (DDP), Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) or any business enterprise in the defence sector that is privately owned.
A recognized undergraduate degree in at least 50 percent marks and/or equivalent CGPA.
Full-time work experience of at least five years following completion of degree at the officer/executive level or higher (part-time, clerical or apprenticeship experience will not be counted as work experience in this program).
At least 15 years of service at the date of application. This is not a requirement among the applicants in the private sector.

The Post Graduate Programme in Digital Governance and Management (PGPDGM) was launched by IIM Visakhapatnam in 2019 under National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI).
