IIM Visakhapatnam PDF Admission Details

IIM Visakhapatnam also offers Post Graduate Diploma Fellowship (PDF) programme which is a one year full-time residential programme. The PDF programme of IIM Visakhapatnam helps the scholars who obtained doctoral degrees for development and career advancement. The eligibility criteria for the admission in the PDF Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam is given below.

IIM Visakhapatnam Eligibility Criteria for PDF

Candidates residing in India are only eligible to apply for the PDF programme of IIMV.
Applicants should have a good academic record and showed research potential.
The age limit for IIM Visakhapatnam admission in the PDF is 35 years and 5 years of relaxation is given to women, PwD, SC/ST, OBC and EWS.
Candidates must have completed their PhD degree from a centrally funded institution of high repute like IIMs, IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, and more.
Candidates should apply for the PDF Programme of IIM Visakhapatnam within three years of obtaining a PhD degree.
Candidates who have submitted their thesis for a PhD degree may also apply. However, such candidates are expected to complete the PhD programme and submit provisional degree certificates at the time of joining as PDF.

IIM Visakhapatnam Selection Process for PDF

The selection process of the PDF programme at IIM Visakhapatnam is as follows:

Stage	Description
Stage 1: Submission of Statement of Purpose (SOP)	Applicants who fulfills the eligibility criteria must submit an SOP not exceeding 2000 words.
Stage 2: Evaluation of Applications	Eligible applications are evaluated based on the SOP and its alignment with the research interests of IIMV faculty members.
Stage 3: Presentation and Interview	Shortlisted candidates are invited to present their research work, interests, or proposal before the PDF Selection Committee (PSC), constituted by the Director. This is followed by a personal interview.
Stage 4: Offer of Fellowship	Candidates will get the Post-Graduate Diploma Fellowship programme offers, identifying the Reporting Faculty Member.
