IIM Mumbai offers an Executive PhD. Programme for professionally employed individuals who wish to pursue doctoral research while continuing their jobs. The Programme covers diverse areas such as Operations and Supply Chain Management, Data Science, HR and Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Economics, and Sustainability.
Eligible candidates include officers or executives from All India Services, Central and State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, and experienced managers from reputed private firms. Private organisations must be listed on premier stock exchanges and have a minimum annual turnover of INR 200 crore.
There is no financial assistance provided by the institute. Scholars conduct their research primarily within their parent organisations under the guidance of IIM Mumbai faculty. They are required to visit the campus for at least one week each semester for academic interaction.
