IIM Ahmedabad admission process for the MBA-PGP courses is conducted in two steps for admission to the 2026-2028 batch of the PGP program. The process of the selection is mentioned below:
Shortlisting for Analytical Writing Test(AWT)&Personal Interview:
Stage 1: (From the applications’ pool: selection of exceptional performers across different disciplines)
Top performers from each discipline are shortlisted for the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) based on their composite score (CS), provided they meet specific eligibility criteria.
The Composite Score (CS) is calculated using a weighted formula that combines two components: the normalized Application Rating (AR) score and the normalized overall score in CAT-2025. The sum of these two weighted scores gives the final Composite Score.
Stage 2: At Stage 2, the selection process will be continued for additional candidates to the AWT and PI rounds based on the Composite Score (CS) for each of the canvassing categories (General, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD). Additional candidates who will move forward to the AWT and PI rounds will be added to a list of candidates who have progressed from Stage 1, subject to the met eligibility criteria
Final Selection:

IIM Ahmedabad’s MBA-PGPX admission process is completed in two phases:
Phase 1:

IIM Ahmedabad MBA-BPGP Admission Detail
Here is information on the detailed process of admission and selection for the MBA-BPGP program at IIM Ahmedabad.
Candidates who want to get admission into this program must qualify for the GMAT, GRE, IAT and CAT entrance tests. The Valid CAT and GMAT/GRE scores taken within the last 5 years.
Final selection is based on the personal interview. After clearing these entrance exams, candidates get invited for the interview round, which is conducted offline, face-to-face.

IIM Ahmedabad ePGD-ABA Selection Process
Stage 1: Candidates can apply to the program with a valid GMAT, GRE, CAT, or GATE score. If a candidate does not have a valid score from any of these exams, they can apply through the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test.
Qualifying-cum-Aptitude Test (for candidates without GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE scores):

IIM Ahmedabad FDP Course Admission
In order to apply, candidates have to fill Part A of the online application form before the application deadline. Part B form has to be also provided by sponsored applicants and confirmed by their sponsoring authority.
Admission decisions are communicated within 15 days of the deadline, and selected candidates or sponsoring Institutions must pay the fees by the specified date. Foreign applicants should ensure timely visa formalities, as extensions to join the program will not be granted.
