Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City, established in 2013, is an institute of national importance. The institute was developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Government of India, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sri City Pvt. Limited.
IIIT Sri City offers a wide range of programs, including BTech, MTech, MS (Research), and PhD, in various streams, including Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data Science (AI & DS), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), and Cyber Security. IIIT Sri City also offers an online MTech program in VLSI, Cyber Security, and IOT & Autonomous Systems.

IIIT Sri City Admission 2025
IIIT Sri City offers several undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs in various streams, which include BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering, MTech in AI & ML and Cyber Security and PhD in Engineering and Technology. Candidates applying for the BTech program at IIIT Sri City are required to clear JEE Main, followed by JOSAA counselling. For the MTech program, candidates are required to clear the GATE examination followed by the CCMT.
IIIT Sri City offers MS (Research) in two streams, which include Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. To get admission into MS (Research) program, candidates are required to have a four-year bachelor's degree in CSE or ECE or any other equivalent degree in science or engineering. JEE Main exams have been concluded successfully and JoSAA counselling has been scheduled to start on 3 June 2025 (Tentative).

IIIT Sri City Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
IT Sri City offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD programs, and candidates can only pursue a course of their choice if they meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The same is mentioned below:
IIIT Sri City offers a 4-year BTech program, where candidates are required to have a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 with PCM along with a valid JEE Main Score, followed by JoSSA counselling.
For admission to the MTech program at IIIT Sri City, candidates are required to score a valid score in the GATE examination, along with a BTech/ BE degree in CSE/ ECE/ or equivalent. For Non-GATE category, candidates are required to have BTech/ BE in CSE/ ECE or equivalent with at least 6.5 CGPA (on 10 point scale) or 60% for Gen/GEN-EWS/OBS, whereas for reserved category candidates, the required marks are 55% or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
Candidates with a four-year bachelor's degree in CSE, ECE or any other equivalent degree in science or engineering can apply for admission to the MS (Research) program at IIIT Sri City or Candidates with a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, or any other related disciplines.
IIIT Sri City offers a PhD program in Engineering and Technology, where candidates are required to have a good academic record with ME, MTech, MS, or equivalent degree in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

IIIT Sri City has shown significant growth trends in its placement statistics, with several recruiters coming on board during the campus placement. IIIT Sri City Scholarships
IIIT Sri City provides scholarships to all the candidates based on merit. IIIT Sri City is listed under List-C institutions to sanction loans to the students under the SBI-Education Loan-Scholar Loan Scheme. The scholarship program can be activated through the Vidya Lakshmi Portal, developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance) and managed by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. The Vidya Lakshmi Portal is linked with scheduled banks, where students can borrow an education loan.
Under the Central Sector Scheme, loans are available to students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, whose parents’ income is less than 4.5 Lakh, and can be obtained from the listed scheduled banks. Many state governments provide fee reimbursement to students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.
