Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Lucknow was established in 2015. IIIT Lucknow is being developed with financial support from the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute is one of the 20 IIITs based on Public Private Partnership and recognised by the UGC. IIIT Lucknow is endowed with state-of-the-art facilities, such as hi-tech classrooms, well-equipped labs, a digital library, and Wi-Fi across the campus.

IIIT Lucknow offers various programs like B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA and PhD. To get admission into these courses, students must qualify for national-level exams. For B.Tech, students must qualify for the JEE Main exam and participate in JoSAA counselling. Admission to the M.Tech program is done through CCMT (Centralised Counselling for M.Tech). IIIT Lucknow Eligibility Criteria 2025
IIIT Lucknow offers various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD. To get admission in these courses, candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements.
B.Tech Eligibility: To get admission in the B.Tech program at IIIT Lucknow, students must have completed Class 12 with at least 75% marks. Students also need to qualify JEE Main exam and take part in JoSAA or CSAB counselling.
M.Tech Eligibility: For M.Tech admission at IIIT Lucknow, candidates must have passed B.Tech in the relevant degree and secured at least 60% marks. Students also need to qualify for the GATE exam and participate in CCMT counselling.
MBA Eligibility: To be eligible for admission to the MBA program at IIIT Lucknow, candidates must have completed graduation with at least 50% marks. Candidates also need to qualify the CUET-PG exam and appear for a personal interview.
M.Sc Eligibility: Admission to the IIM Lucknow M.Sc, candidates must have completed their graduation with at least 60% marks. They also need to qualify IIT JAM exam and take part in the CCMN counselling process.
PhD Eligibility: For admission into the PhD program at IIIT Lucknow, candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 60% (5% relaxation for the reserved candidates) marks in a relevant subject. Students should also have a consistently good academic record throughout their studies.

IIIT Lucknow Scholarships 2025
IIIT Lucknow doesn't offer its scholarships, but students can apply through various central and state government schemes, as well as foundation and disability scholarships.
Central/State Govt. Scholarships: Students receive scholarships through State and Central Government schemes. These include the Central Sector Scholarship, scholarships for ST students, UP Post-Matric Scholarship, and support for students with 40% or more disability. The scholarship schemes reduce education costs and support higher studies.
Minority Scholarships: Minority students who scored at least 50% marks in their last exam and whose family income is below INR 2 lakh per year can get this scholarship to support their education.
Disability Scholarships: Students with 40% or more disability and a valid disability certificate can apply for this scholarship. Only two children with disabilities from the same family can get it (twins are allowed with an affidavit). The scholarship is given for one year only. If a student repeats a class, they won’t get it again for that class. Also, students cannot take any other scholarship while receiving this one and must submit an undertaking for the same.
PG Scholarships: This scholarship is only for students doing their Postgraduate degree. Those who already have a PG degree cannot apply. Only students admitted to the first year of a PG program in a recognized college or university can apply.
Foundation & Corporate Scholarships: IIIT Lucknow students can also apply for scholarships like the Reliance Foundation Scholarship, Indus Towers Scholarship, and L.R. Mundra Memorial Scholarship.
