Students at Jigyasa University can avail only one scholarship at a time. Students who have received the scholarship have to maintain a minimum required CGPA and 75% attendance to stay eligible for the scholarship in the upcoming semesters as well. Jigyasa University, formerly known as Himgiri Zee University, was founded by Taleem Research Foundation in 2003. Himalayan Zee University was renamed as Jigyasa University under the Uttarakhand Private University Amendment Act 2024. Jigyasa University is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Every course and program has its own specific has its own eligibility criteria that the candidate who is applying has to fulfil. • For the undergraduate programs, students must have passed Class 12th from a recognised board with a minimum qualifying mark. 

• Students with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline can apply for the postgraduate program. 

• For a doctoral program, students must have a master's degree in a relevant subject with at least 50% - 55% marks in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.

• Students are required to pass Class 12 in any stream for a 6-month certificate program. 

• Students should have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board for the diploma program.
