Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions Admission Overview
HGPI offers over 17 courses such as BTech, BSc Nursing, LLB, BA LLB, MBA, MPharma, etc, in Business and Management, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Education, Law, Computer Science, etc.
Admission to most courses requires passing marks in Class 12 with a minimum required percentage, depending on the chosen course. Candidates will also be required to have a valid score in either HPCET conducted by HPTU or national-level entrance exams such as JEE/ CAT/ CMAT/ MAT (AIMA), etc.
Admission to Management courses like BBA and MBA, based on the results of recently conducted national entrance examinations, is going on.

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Sirmaur, has a diverse range of courses to provide, namely, BTech, BSc Nursing, LLB, BBA, BPharma, BEd, MBA, MPharma, D El Ed, etc. Admission to these courses is based on merit and entrance exam score; however, courses like LLB and BA LLB will be strictly based on merit.
A minimum qualification expected of students is to have a qualifying mark in Class 10+2. Elaborated eligibility criteria for flagship courses are given below:
BTech admission will be accepted if a candidate holds at least 45% in Class 12 with Physics and Maths being the major subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology as one of the additional subjects. In addition to this, she/he must have achieved a valid score in JEE Main or HPCET.
For BCA, the minimum requirement is to have passed Class 12 with at least 40%.
Candidates who wish to pursue BBA will need a minimum requirement of 45% in Class 12.
For MBA, candidates need to ensure they have at least 50% in a Bachelor’s degree and a valid score in either of the following exams: CAT/ CMAT/ MAT (AIMA) or HPCET Score.
Note: Students belonging to the reserved section will be given eligibility relaxation of at least 5%.

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, Sirmaur Scholarships 2025
In association with the Himachal Pradesh Government, HGPI Sirmaur offers PM-YASASVI Post Matric Scholarship to students of Himachal Pradesh belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EBC (Economically Backwards Classes), and DNT (Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes) categories.
To be eligible, students must belong to the mentioned categories within their home state, have passed matric or higher exams, and their family's yearly income must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh. Girls can all receive the scholarship, but only two boys per family are allowed. Students cannot get any other scholarship at the same time. Also, students repeating the same level of education in a new course won’t be eligible. A valid bank account linked with Aadhaar and mobile number is required.
