The Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET), Ghaziabad, provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in various specialisations such as Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Education and Commerce. The total fee for all the programs ranges between INR 81,250 to INR 3,88,000 annually, depending on the course. The one-time application fee is INR 5,000. For admission in the HIET, candidates are required to meet the respective eligibility criteria of the chosen course. For the B.Tech program, Candidates are required to pass 10+2 in the science stream from a recognised board.  Candidates must have a minimum of 45%(40% for reserved category) aggregate marks in Class 12. 

Interested candidates for the BBA program must have completed 10+2 with any stream from a recognised board. Candidates from the general and OBC category must get at least 45% marks in Class 12, and candidates from the SC/ST category must have a minimum of 40% marks. 

For the MBA program, candidates must have scored 50% marks in their bachelor's degree, and candidates belonging to the reserved category are required to have at least 45% marks from a recognised university. Candidates in the last year of a bachelor's are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have a valid national entrance exam score, such as CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT.

Merit-based scholarships:

HIET provides scholarships to candidates based on their high performance in entrance exams like CAT/XAT/JEE Main or class 12 results. The scholarships cover a part of the total tuition fee. 

Note: candidates are given scholarships at the time of admission and are not later combined with other scholarship schemes. 

Other scholarships:

HIET offers various other scholarships to reduce the financial burden for candidates. The scholarships are as follows:

• Sibling Award - An INR 5,000 fee waiver is given per academic year to candidates whose brother/sister is studying in the institute. 

• Wards of Defence Personnel - An INR 5,000 fee waiver is awarded to candidates whose parents have either served or are serving in the army. 

• Wards of Widow Scholarship - INR 5,000 fee waiver to candidates of widowed mothers.

• Freedom Fighter Scholarship - INR 5,000 fee waiver to wards of freedom fighters.
